A Valentine Maternity Blogversary Celebration

Happy Valentines Day!!

February has been filled with so many celebrations, from the birth of my baby, my 5th year Blogversary and now Valentines Day :)

Honestly, so grateful for all the blessings, this time last year, I had no idea this is how things would be.

These pictures were taken sometime in 2018, any guesses how many weeks pregnant I was when this shoot happened?

My makeup was done by Pretty me Makeovers and the Honey Blonde Weave is from @HairByRubis, first time working with both companies and I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

The pictures were taken by the one and only, shutterwave, he has shot my family & I over 10 times in the past 2 years, from my Versatility of Natural Hair Series to my Intro test shoot, the intro itself & my pre wedding shoot, my traditional wedding, white wedding, bridal shower, baby shower, independence shoot, private family event & now this.

It is proof that if you have a pleasant attitude, deliver great work, stick to your word and provide excellent customer service, repeat business is your portion.

Fun Fact: I was supposed to wear the Black version of this dress for the shoot and had tried it on the day before but couldn't find it on the day.

I was a bit pained because it was the dress I was wearing when Tola proposed in 2017 back in Diani, Kenya.

Looking back, I'm glad I couldn't find the black dress as this colour was popping and the black and white pictures give off the black dress vibe :)
