Thanks for being part of my journey in 2017, looking forward to a better 2018.

Last year, I did a year in review post as opposed to a goal audit post, doing something similar again this year :)

2017 was a year where I wasn't tied to any formal institution or place of work, so I told myself, it was a year of No Limits.

My 2016 in Review

Happy New Year Fam!

I am so grateful to God for all he did for me in 2016.

It started out a bit rough with some family member's having health issues and balancing a 9-5 I didn't feel was necessary with Music, Blogging, Photography & all the other things I love. It ended up greatly though and I can honestly say that 2016 was an amazing year of walking in purpose & God's favour surprising me.

I've been singing "You've been faithful lord, from the ages past, that is why your name, is forever praised". I pray this song shall be on your lips too.

I won a 32 Inch Smart TV

Hey Guys!

I'm writing out this blogpost with sooo much joy in my heart. I won a 32 Inch Smart TV because I watched a Movie!!!!

I'm not sure if I've mentioned it on the blog before but I don't really watch TV series. The only shows I've actually followed are Gidi Up, Shuga, Dowry, Skinny Girl in Transit and I watched Quantico at my friends house last year. I watched New Girl and 2 Broke Girls when I was in my final year of Uni though, it helped with the pain of Dissertation :)

2015 Goal Audit

When I reminisce on 2015, I am honestly Super Grateful and Thankful. There were ups and downs, old friendships lost, new friendships formed, confusing times, trying times but it worked out the way God wanted it to and I achieved certain things I didn't think I would.

I recorded a single, Trust, which is on iTunes, it's been played on different radio stations and TV stations too. My Sax playing became more than a hobby and I met so many wonderful people while playing. I survived without a 9 to 5 for 9 months and that period was a time to dig deep, experiment and discover myself.

I will share all I learnt this year in the concluding part of the Lessons I've learnt as a Creative Entrepreneur Series but for now let's talk about goals.

I woke up 2 weeks ago with the hugest zit on the right side of my face. I had been slacking with my skincare routine, not cleaning my face with make up wipes so I immediately got to work.

Quarter Year Goal Audit

Today na Today o, everyone I've spoken to today is waiting for the results to be announced. May the best man win. 

Today marks the end of the first quarter, oh, how time flies. I remember sitting in church on the last day of 2014 and now we are 25% way through 2015. 

I put up my 2014 goals on the blog last year, did a 5 month goal audit post and then I did a final audit at the end of the year. This year I've decided to do a goal audit every quarter to make me accountable, so I can see what I have achieved and how much there is left to achieve. So my 2015 goals can be found in this post, here goes my quarter year audit.

1) Grade 5 theory (and a practical exam):

Status Report: The next Grade 5 Exam is on the 7th of November and I have to register by the 11th of September :)  In other musically related news, I released my first single which is available at LaternaVentures, on iTunes and CD Baby.com. Tuke's Quest at 1

So my blog turned 1 on the 8th of February 2015. I didn't put a post up as that day did NOT go as planned. I have written a post on the 24 lessons I've learned in my 1 year as a blogger though. 2015 Goals and Resolutions

I'm having such a relaxing day, haven't stepped one foot out of my house and I love it :)

I did a Goal Audit post in May Last year and people really seemed to enjoy it and the end of year Audit too. I'm hoping this year is bigger and better than 2014, it gats to be mehn!

I started off my year with 10 goals, I did a review in May and now I'm doing the final year review.

First Things First

I'm the realest, something something something something something. I really don't know the lyrics to all these American rap songs and I'm not interested in learning but I heard a lot of them yesterday which is why this blogpost is titled so.

If you follow me on Instagram, then you should know I'm out of the country at the moment. I'm in Uganda for my cousin's wedding, all the wedding celebrations ended yesterday, today is a day of rest. It's 5pm and one of my cousin's is still sleeping, much needed rest.

It's my first time in this part of Africa, the only other African Country I've been to is Ghana and that was in 2003 so I'm really glad that my parents sent me here to represent them. I went to Seme Border in secondary school for excursion but I'm not sure that really counts as going to Benin Republic or does it?

GOAL AUDIT: How far with your New Year Resolutions?

So at the beginning of the year I wrote down 10 Goals. I made the list of my goals my lock screen image for a while as a reminder but changed it after this photoshoot because I absolutely love the pictures Linguini took. My Wallpaper, Screensaver, BBM picture and Whatsapp picture are from this shoot, shows how much I Love them. If you haven’t got in touch with him yet, I don’t know what you are waiting for o! Anyways, back to my goals, I’m pretty pleased with the progress I’ve made so far and I’m excited for what is to come. I urge you to look back at your New Year Resolutions/Goals for the year and take the necessary steps to complete them.  Have a look at mine!
