Life Update

Hey Guys,

I know, I know, I've been away for far too long.

It has been 46 days since my last Blogpost which is a really really long time.

The longest Blog Break I've gone on since I started posting consistently was last year, between this post and this one. It only lasted for 11 days and was primarily caused by preparations for my Grade 5  Music Theory Exam.

This time around, I've been on a Break for a number of reasons which I shall list below

First reason, My beloved HP laptop started having issues, it would crash every 30 minutes, in the middle of editing pictures, writing posts, sending mails, watching videos, etc It was really annoying & frustrating and is one of the reasons the pictures in my last post were unedited (doubt you guy's noticed). I can write posts on my phone but editing food pictures and arranging the post in the way I want needs to be done on a laptop.

Secondly, I left the 9-5 life and the last few days were pretty hectic, tidying up, handing over, finishing up work, etc I actually had to catch a flight on my last day of work. I'm glad that my parents have finally agreed to let me focus on the work area's I am most interested in (Food Photography, Performing Arts, Music & Blogging/Content Creation)

Thirdly, I travelled to the UK and was there for four weeks. I haven't been there in about 2 years (the pictures here, here & here were taken during that trip two years ago) so the trip was really enlightening & eye opening for me. Preparations for it were a bit stressful, it was my first time travelling as an adult, where I had to change my own money (the hustle for pta is a story for another day). I was in  the UK for a number of family & personal events and obligations and I'm really grateful to God that everything went well.

I went to Edinburgh for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Ceremony and posted about 16 pictures/videos on Instagram while there so check them out from here to here to understand what the Award Scheme entailed.

I'm back now with a new laptop, praise the lord, a somewhat changed mentality, increased drive to succeed (our exchange rate is a shambles so you need to work hard and smart to make good money so you can afford to buy plane tickets and have an enjoyable experience overseas).

I met up with almost everyone I wanted to (some bloggers included). The Cassie Daves Blog Planner really helped me plan my schedule as the first 2 weeks were filled with family activities and all my weekends were locked down for different events. The only people I didn't meet up with were people who were unable to get time off work or their schedule clashed with mine.

It was a productive and enjoyable trip. I'm really glad to be back. I'm ready to focus on the growth and development of my various businesses and I'm also open to collaborations too.

Thanks to everyone who checked up on me while I was away.

I really appreciate it!

I did try to keep you guy's updated via Instagram so if you aren't following me on there, make sure you do so now! If you aren't subscribed to the Blog, stop dulling and drop your details here ;)

It's good to be back, I missed y'all!!!!
