Restaurant Review: Z Kitchen Lagos

Happy New Year! I pray 2021 is 10 times better than 2020 was. Can you believe after going out to eat for my Wedding Anniversary in March, I didn't eat at a Restaurant till December!!

I had Pasta at Orchid Bistro on the 18th of December then went to Z kitchen with some friends on the 30th of December.

I was really pleased with the food and service so I took my family there for New Years Day lunch and we enjoyed our dinner fully.

It is slightly on the high side but the food is delicious!

The first starter I tried were the Korean Beef BBQ Bao Buns, which were nice. I'm not a Huge Bao Bun fan but I enjoyed them.

Crispy Chicken wontons were just okay, I won't order it again.

I asked for Sweet Chilli sauce as I didn't really like the dip it came with.

Calamari was my least favourite thing, the suya coating was overpowering.

I had the calamari at atmosphere rooftop last weekend and it was so good!

The wings were just there, wouldn't order it again.

The Suya Satay was really delicious, the chicken suya reminded me of ikoyi club!

The naked sausage pizzetta was nice, my niece really enjoyed it!

The fishermans rice was absolutely delicious,  one of my friends felt the soy sauce was too much but I'l definitely have it again. 

It's filled with juicy prawns, calamari, lots of flavour and even some fried plantain!

I couldn't finish it at the restaurant when I went on New Years Day. 

It tasted just as good when I warmed it up at home!

The Mumbai Briyani came in a similar bowl but it was slightly smaller.

It was really tasty! I'm not a Huge Fan of Indian Food but I Loved it!

The Chagrilled prawns were perfect but the linguini it came with was a bit too bland for me.

If you want to get this, tell them to add a bit more of your favourite spices.

When I got it on wednesday, it came with 3 prawns but when my aunty got it on New Years Day, it came with 4, not sure why!

The Beef Rib Lasagne was Yummy!!!!

My Cousin got the Meatball linguini but I didn't try it because there was a lot of cheese!

She liked it though and took some home!

My Mum ordered the Salad, really nice portion size!

She also got the Salmon with mashed potatoes

It's interesting how I almost always get pasta when I eat out and she almost always gets salmon!

Loved the portion size of the pavlova, the fruits were fresh and it tasted nice.

My Uncle got the steak frites, had to send it back to the kitchen because he wanted it Well Done!

My Aunty got the Lagos Lime Pie!

It was nice, the lime is very lime-y 😂

My uncle and cousin got the cheesecake, they loved it too!

My cousin got the apple crumble, it was yum!

I got the giant cookie and we all shared it!

It was soooo good, warm, delicious, perfection really!

I got the strawberry dream mocktail.

I asked for it to be frozen, most people got it shaken.

Have you been to Z kitchen before? Did you have a good experience?

A number of my friends have gone there since my posts and most of them enjoyed it.

They do add charges to the price on the menu so bear that in mind.

The teapot there is so cute!
