The Day after the Blogger Brunch, myself & Kachee Tee got our hair done at a New Salon in Lekki owned by Zainab Balogun & Bolanle Olukanni.
It's called my Wash & Go.
They are a Cashless, simple concept, Healthy Hair Salon that provide wash and weave services within a specified time period.
They have a really functional website with prices clearly stated and you are encouraged to book a slot online.
The prices include the hair products but you are allowed to bring in your products if you prefer.
I really love the decor of the space.
They used rollers intertwined in a dustbin for the lampshades.
The waiting area has faux dryers.
The pink chairs go so nicely with the black and white tiles.
It feels like you travelled back in time.
I love how they paid so much attention to detail.
This bright red phone reminded me of my childhood.
The little cameras at the reception desk are so vintage-y.
I love that they have an old school tv.
Majority of the furniture was made in Nigeria.
I really love the space and the people behind it.
I also love the fact that they were very deliberate about the decor and ambiance.
There is really cool artwork at the entrance.
I love the fact that Zainab was there, she even worked on someone's hair.
