Day: Floral Jumpsuit | Tuke's Quest

Day: Floral Jumpsuit

Morning Folks

Guess who hit 100,000 views on her blog yesterday, TUKE'S QUEST did *dancing dancing* *turnup turnup* No long speech yet but I just want to say I'm grateful for the love, support, shares and comments. Like I mentioned earlier, the blog is 1 on Sunday and presents are welcome *wink*

So, I got this jumpsuit from Bella Cosa sometime last month. They are having 50% off from now till the 13th of February so hurry on over there, no dulling. Their store is opposite Domino's Pizza/Coldstone Creamery on Admiralty way, same building as Jerry's Bakery.

I wore it on Thursday while hanging out with 2 of my close friends from Secondary School. They moved back last week so haven't settled yet and it's just sinking in to them that they are back for good. It's pretty funny sha, I remember when I was going through that phase, looking for internship, trying to be independent on the streets, getting to know places and trying to decide what I want.

We went to Bay Lounge first but decided to just get Shawarma from Ebeano instead. Great decision, shout out to Ify for the introduction, I think I tasted the best shawarma I've ever had in Lagos. There wasn't an overdose of Mayonnaise, there were 2 sausages, a sufficient amount of chicken and the sauce was sweet yet hot, like there was some sweet chilli stuff going on. I'm definitely going back there again. My other top shawarma joints in Lagos are Fun Factory, 01 Shawarma, Best in Surulere and Bops. What are yours?

Okay, back to the topic at hand, when I got this jumpsuit, first thing I thought was this would have been so perfect for the Savvy and Chic Floral Party. Oh, well, I'll rock it again if anyone has a floral dress code for their party. This is my Third Day to Night look on the blog. The first one was the Denim x White one, the second one the double denim post. The pinafore workflow post was sorta a Day to Night post too. I've split the post into 2 as there were too many great pictures, Shalla to Inikpi!

I attended the Nikon training, which I mentioned in this post, yesterday. I learnt quite a bit and I know that the pictures below were darker as I was against the light. I should have adjusted the settings before giving the camera to Inikpi. This Journey is a learning process. Expect the Night look soon :)

  3. I really wanted to go for the photography class but laziness got the best of me, plus I was going to register late, wasn't sure of a seat.
I really love the suit but I'm curious about your hair, since I cut my hair been unsure of how to get back into the 'weave' life, help

    1. Awww, okay. It was really good, I could only go on Friday but I learnt a lot and I met some blog readers too :) I even had a mini photoshoot, expect a post on it soon.
Hmmm, the weave life, I would not advise you to leave hair out and keep straightening it as that could result in heat damage. You should invest in a closure and you can even convert the hair you already have into a wig. Send me an email tuke_morgan@hotmail.com and I'll give you details

  5. Ebeani shawarma is just a flipping firework in a wrap. I remember the first time I had it, there was a party in my mouth. Joy. (I am a shameless foodie).
That's a pretty jumpsuit and as usual you wore it very well.
I think that party made me more conscious of florals and adding them to my wardrobe.

    3. Lool, Yayyy, welcome to the Shameless Foodie Club, hehe :)
It's actually outside a Supermarket, Prince Ebeano Supermarket in Lekki Phase 1, it's on admiralty way, a stone's throw distance from the Tantalizers at the Forte Oil gas station but on the other side of the road. I was there earlier in the week, they sell Chips, Turkey, Fish, Roasted Chicken and many other deliciously smelling goodies.
      Thank you Ekene :)

  11. Congratulations Tuke!! May many moore hits come your way. *smile*. No one does shawarma like Naija joints. *Sigh* kebabs over here even when labelled as 'shawarma' are not quite the same

LOL, that's right, I never was a kebab fan, the only thing I got from those Corner Food Joints were spicy chicken wings and pizza's occasionally
