Home-Made Waffles & Spring Rolls

Hey Guys :)

Happy Monday! Hope you had a Great Weekend!!!

Mine was pretty calm, I watched the stage play, Annie at Muson on Friday and it was really really good. It was done by the graduating set of my Primary School and I really just wanted to get off my seat and join them on Stage. I've been singing all the songs since then.

I woke up this morning craving waffles, my Aunt made some last weekend, wrote all about it in this post where I rocked this look
I had Sax rehearsals all weekend, I'm playing this weekend for the RCCG Female Minister's conference which is pretty exciting. It's a dream I've had since I started playing the Sax 6 years ago and I'm glad it's coming to past. Remember that time I played with Nathaniel Bassey (link here). Well, I met him a couple of years ago and he told me one day we'll play together so it happening was like a fulfilment of prophecy. I'm saying this to encourage you to hang on to that word God has promised you, it will be fulfilled at the right time :)
The waffle making process was really quick and easy, check out the recipe here.
Flour
Milk, Vanilla Essence and Baking Powder
Eggs being whisked
Milk being Mixed
The coolest Waffle Maker I've ever seen, you can order it from Argos for 20 Pounds only, link here.

My cousins had tubs of coldstone ice cream at home, Vanilla, Strawberry and Gooseberry.
They also had Breaded Shrimp and Frozen Spring Rolls from Spar, they were soooo delicious!

Doesn't this platter look like something you'll get at a Restaurant?
How was your weekend?

The presentation alone did it for me! Pictures were sharp and engaging.

  8. I made my first waffles last weekend. I was over the moon though I think I put a lil more Vanilla than I should have but then practice makes perfect right?! Lol! Yours definitely look yummy with the ice cream. I hope to try it with ice cream soon.

    1. Oh, Nice, did you take any pictures? What kind of waffle maker did you use?
Practise definitely makes perfect :) My sister made a mistake and bought a stove top waffle maker instead of an electric time but after playing around with it we finally got it to make the waffles the right way.
