Hair Goodies: Darling Hair, Shay's Treats & Ultra Black Hair Africa

Hey Guys,

4 days till the end of the year, ghen ghen. Hope you've forgiven everyone that offended you this year and made up with people that did you wrong. I always like to start the new year with a Clean Slate and I've learnt to avoid situations that would most likely end up in conflict. I've learnt a lot of lessons this year o, hope you've been keeping up with the lessons I've learnt as a Creative Entrepreneur Series, the last 4 videos will be up on the last day of the year :)

So I've gotten a number of hair goodies in the past couple of months :) #Blogger Perks I'll be sharing my thoughts on them and some pictures too!

Shays Treats came first and 2 people won a jar of their wonderfully scented Whipped Shea Butter at TBC Connect.
I was gifted the Largest Size (8 Ounces) in Chocolate Chip Cookie.
I absolutely love the scent, it smells so edible
The owner gave me 2 of the 4 ounce size to give away.
They cost N3,000 each
The M and M one is 8 Ounces and it costs N4,500
The smallest size is 2 Ounces and it costs N2,000
So I absolutely love the scent of the Cherry Pie One, it smells like Jolly Rancher Candy and the cover really does look like a Cherry Pie.
The Whipped Shea Butter is very soft, fluffy and moisturising.
I use it on my hair & skin and you can tell that a lot of thought, time & effort went into product development which is why the quality is so high.
She's got other flavours too: Pineapple, Peach Cobbler, Oatmeal Cookie, Chocolate Cake, Mango Smoothie, Cinamon Bun, Cake Batter, Toasted Marshmallow & Peppermint. Follow her on Instagram @ShaysTreats or send an email to shaystreats@gmail.com to place an order.
Ultra Black Hair West Africa sent me a DM and delivered these goodies about a Month Ago. They sent me their Cleansing Shampoo, Deep Conditioner, Satin Creme Moisturiser and Silky Spray Moisturiser.
I have only been using them for a short time so I can't tell if it's had any results yet, will keep you guy's updated.
So I received this package a couple of weeks ago.
It was sent to me by a PR Company.
In the box was 4 packs of extensions, a Notebook, a Flash Drive and 2 Biros.
I like the colour purple and how it's uniform across all their branding.
I haven't used their hair before, I used Xpressions the last time I did Braids (Post here)
I was sent 2 packs of the Black & Purple and 2 packs of the Black & Wine.

  1. Love the packaging of the Shea butter. I kept thinking of chocolate chip cookies while scrolling down, lol

I haven't used a straight attachment since i went natural because i didn't like my kinky hair coming out of it anyhow. Is there a way I can enjoy this type of attachment with my kinky hair? Please I'd like to know.

How are you doing, hon? Hope your holiday is looking good. Have a great year ahead!!!

    1. Loool, I Love it too!

Ahnahn, how come? Yeah, you can definitely enjoy straight attachment with Natural Hair. I've done box braids with straight extensions at least 5 times since I went Natural, I just haven't done tiny twists like Million Braids. I think I will use this hair to do big twists.

I'm doing well and my holiday has been FUN! Happy New Year in Advance!!!

Awww, Congratulations on starting your blog. I wrote a post sharing 24 lessons I learnt in my first year of blogging. I think you'll Learn a lot from it http://www.bellanaija.com/2015/02/24/adetuke-morgan-24-things-i-learned-from-blogging/
In terms of writing better, I think your writing improves the more you do it. Like anything in life, practise makes perfect. In terms of managing your blog, there are scheduling tools that you can use to manage your time better e.g. hootsuite and buffer. Stephanie Obi has a mini course on her website explaining how to use these scheduling tools. Hope that helps. If you have any more questions, feel free to send me an email Tuke_morgan@hotmail.com
