Smell the Daises

Hey Guys!

How are you?

Hope you had a great weekend! I met some blog readers at the volunteer meeting for LYDA and it was really nice to know that people volunteered because they read about it on my blog :) I hope the rest of you have registered to attend, do it quick before the spaces get filled!

My Birthday is exactly 4 weeks away. There are many things I pray would have come to past by then. Right now, I'm learning to stop and smell the roses i.e. to take some time away from the busyness of life to appreciate the little things that matter.

I absolutely love this Wrap Dress, it was gifted to me by Tomiwa who styled the Kaymu Collaboration shoot. She did my makeup for it too and she runs a Fashion Label called Ayaba, such a Talented Lady!
I really love this picture, even though it's blurry, might just have to recreate this pose.

I wore this dress at the end of the Kaymu shoot and I felt sooooo beautiful in it. There's something about a wrap dress that makes girls look so ladylike. Remember the M & F Designs one I wore for Naturals in the City 9, Effortlessly chic :)
I really do like the way Tomiwa styled my hair and I find that flowers go really well with long dresses. This is obvious in the pictures from Savvy & Chic's Floral Themed Party.
I wore this dress again over the weekend but my hair is in Crotchet Braids and I used different accessories.

No I didn't, the pictures were taken 2 months apart from each other.
The Kaymu shoot was in March but I never put the first set of pictures up

Anyways I love the flower in your hair, I do agree that it accessories nicely with maxi-dresses.
