Weekend Gist: Lagos Fashion Week & Ajali Store Opening

Hey Guys,

Happy New Week.

TBC Connect was a Huge success and my next post will be about it. This post is long overdue and so are the vlogs.
So two weekend's ago I went for LFDW, I put some videos on instagram and I'm sure you've seen pictures on other blogs. This was my look on the 3rd Day, the Friday.
I went on the Friday and Saturday, learnt a lot from the Vane style clinic, especially from Latasha Lagos.
Veronica spoke about shirt dresses and how versatile they are.
She wore them a lot while pregnant as they are slimming.
They can be worn on their own, as a jacket or tied like in the picture above.
She also spoke about neutral colours and how white looks classy and expensive when worn in the right way.
I Loved Latasha's outfit.
You know Yellow is one of my favourite colours, the print of her dress looked soooo good.
She brought out her model in this full Ankara skirt and Black top. It wasn't a top though, it was a Jumpsuit.
She added a white chiffon vest which changed the look.
The Yellow chiffon vest, sunglasses and belt upped the look a bit more.
She also tied an iro around it to illustrate 5 ways we can rock a Black Jumpsuit.
Veronica spoke about classic neutral colours.
She illustrated how a pop of colour with the use of an accessory can step up a look a notch.
I didn't take many pictures of the runway but the April by Kunbi Collection was definitely my favourite. I loved the drama and James Bond/Charlie's Angels Theme.
On Sunday, I went for the Ajali store opening.
The free massage was sooooo good.
She was one of the sponsors of TBC Connect, Thanks Ify.
Her prices are affordable.
The store has a very clean setup too.
Have you used any of her products? What was your experience like?
I totally loved the Grass wall too.

I'm back to the 9-5 life, and I kinda have mixed feelings about it because I've been enjoying the freelancer life. I'm glad that I have been able to set up multiple streams of income though. Another one of my goals :)

How was your weekend?

  3. I like all the outfits. I work a 9-5 job, although it keeps you busy, it can be stressful. Yay to having multiple sources of income. All the best :)
