Brunch at 34 Mayfair London & Lobster Noodle

Hey Guys :)

I hit 400k on the Blog over the weekend, whoohooo :D

I remember writing this post last year celebrating 200k. How time flies. Thank you so much for reading, commenting, liking and sharing. This Blog journey has been an interesting one. There are many times in the past few months that I have thought of quitting but I'm glad  I haven't done so. Comparison truly is the thief of joy so I encourage you to focus on your journey and keep on churning out quality content as you never know who is reading :)
So I went to 34 Mayfair for my Friend's Birthday on July 16th.
It's a really posh, grand and classy restaurant.
We went there for Brunch even though it was mid/late afternoon.
I should have probably eaten something solid beforehand because none of their mains seemed like they will fill me up. Nevertheless, I ordered the Indonesian Spiced Beef & King Prawn Skewers with a side of chips.
I asked for my Beef to be well done but they brought it medium rare which was a bit annoying, I couldn't eat it.
There were also only 3 prawns, if I could have gone back in time, I would have asked for no Beef and just prawns on the skewer.
I found the grilled lime really fun to edit :D
Can you tell the difference between Lime and Lemon?
Loads of people got the Buttermilk Pancakes with Blue Berries which looked really cute.
I've learnt that it's best to get something off the Brunch Menu at a place that is known/most popular for Brunch.
It was also one of the less expensive items on their menu which you can view here.
Some people got chicken as their main but I didn't try it so I can't really say much about it's taste.

I ended up getting a scoop of ice-cream for dessert and the cone it came with was the favourite thing I ate at that restaurant.
My friend got a Birthday plate of truffles which was rather cute :D

I ended up going out for dinner that night with one of my friends from my A-level school. I hadn't seen her in 5 years so it was nice to catch up.
We went to a Chinese Restaurant in Queensway and ordered Lobster Noodle with Ginger and Spring Onion.
Prior to this trip, the last time I had Lobster noodle was in 2010 so I was really glad to try the delicious delicacy again.
It cost £32 for a huge bowl which we shared :)
Have you ever had Lobster Noodle before?
Does it sound like something you will like to try?
