MasterCard Restaurant Week 2016

Hey Guys,

Happy Tuesday :)

Hope your week is going well!

I ticked one of my 2016 goals off my list yesterday which reassures me that all things are possible through Christ and I might just be able to achieve all of them ;)

You might not know this but this week is MasterCard Restaurant Week, so was last week and the week before to be honest.
I attended a Media Dinner on the 4th of November at 1415 for the MasterCard Restaurant Week.
I have eaten at 1415 a number of times, check out my review of it here and here. I also played there once for a 60th birthday surprise, see pictures here and here.
Someone on my table chose this Emerald Seafood Risotto that I didn't have the guts to try out.
The prawn looked delicious but I'm not a fan of Risotto so it wasn't an option for me.
I got the Chicken Roulade stuffed with Seafood and Tomato coulis
It was interesting, different, not like anything I've ever had before
The Decadent Chocolate Cake I had for dessert was my favourite thing.
I also loved catching up with my Blogger Boo's Tosin Alabi of Africanism Cosmopolitan, Simi of Eat Tech Travel and Dee Mako

Fun fact, we were talking about Blogger Brand Collaborations and how we would like to work with a Travel Brand and visit a New country. Less than 24 hours later I got a call from Bella Naija about going to explore #JoziWithGoogle on their behalf. Isn't God Amazing! You really do attract what you speak like Sisi Yemmie spoke about here.

MasterCard Restaurant Week ends this Friday so make sure you click here to check out the various restaurants that are participating and so you can see their menu too. Remember that you need to pay with your Mastercard's when you go out to eat a 3 course meal from a carefully curated set menu.

Lunch - N6,000
Dinner - N8,000
Fine Dining - N11,000

Guests at the Media Dinner were gifted 2 vouchers and I used mine for Lunch at Truffles a couple of Days ago.

Let me know if you've ever taken part in MasterCard Restaurant Week, what restaurant you visited and what the experience was like.

  1. I am happy for you.. No I haven't tried mastercard-restaurant-week dining and I hope to but not within this Nov limited time. The seafood looks funny tho reminds me of periwinkle but I'd love to try it.
