One Sunday in Notts

Hey Guys!

This is a bit of a throwback post, to my days in Nottingham. These pictures were taken on June 9th, 2013 to be precise. Do you think I've changed much? I haven't done a fringe since then, might try this style again soon.

I was in the choir in my Church, God's Vineyard Church in Nottingham as a Saxophonist. They have a really vibrant youth group, Radical Youth, which made my time in Uni very fulfilling. The dress code for choir that day must have been red and white.  My Skirt is from Internacionale, tank top and Blazer are from H and M. I was not into make up at that point in my lifetime, was an eyeliner and lipbalm kinda girl. See the way Lagos has changed me o!
with my girl Shaana, she's from Tanzania and she really helped me through some tough times. She loved to clean and cook and boy can she saaaang, I miss her!

Sarie, she sent me an email over the weekend and she ended it with your friendly neighbourhood copy editor so if anyone requires such services holla at her, she's got a blog too and her about me section is rather interesting.
Today is Ify's birthday, she was my flatmate in Nottingham for two years, Happy Birthday Girlfriend. She was my junior in Secondary School. I would have never thought that we'll be as close as we've become. Life is funny sha, don't treat your juniors badly, you never know what the future holds.
With Shegz, Guitarist toh bad
I know her wedges are from New Look, she used to say they were really comfortable. She could walk from church to spc (our accomodation) in them, a 15 minute journey.
Oh yeah, people used to call her FOA because she won the Face of Africultural pageant which I spoke about here in our 1st year

Tobi Obalade, he was the RY president, a very popular guy
Tosin  Obalade (she's Tobi's sister) I've mentioned her on the blog before, she owns this really cool online retail store called Zere Fashion House. They stock Nigerian Fashion Labels and they deliver in the UK, Europe, America and Nigeria. They are having a Sale at the moment so check it out!
With Lily and Sedu. He and Linguini taught me the little I know about photography
My camera produced this image and the one below it, Sedu of Parfait Photography simply adjusted the settings and voila the pictures came out way brighter and more vibrant.
I love these pictures of Mosope. If you don't know who she is, maybe you should read this post, this post, this post and this post

I used to paint my nails back in the day but I don't bother anymore because the edges chip off when I play the sax.
Have a good day at work guys!
