Toju Foyeh Print Pants

Hey Guys,

Happy Tuesday!

Hope your week is going great and you've recovered from the weekend :)

I took these pictures on the same day I took these ones. I shot 3 different looks in one day, first time shooting style posts in batch and it makes a lot of sense as I mentioned in this article.
I wore one of Mum's Kaftans and tucked it in.
The pants are my sister's and they are from Toju Foyeh (an indigenous Nigerian Brand)
I really like the fact that the waist is elastic, I wear them a lot when it's that time of the month and my tummy is bloated.
The Bag was a gift from my mum, it's a Vintage Bally Bag, she's had it for soooo many years.

The shoes are from Dorothy Perkins but I haven't really worn them a lot, I always thought they were too shiny.
I've got the LA Girl Matte Gloss in Rebel on my lips, I reviewed it here and it still remains one of my favourite lip products.
The hair bow was gifted to me after I modelled for this shoot.

I've shared a number of these pictures on Social Media already, like the one above and the one below.
I even added a quote to this one, check it out here.
As you have read, many pieces that make up this look belong to my family members.
When you feel like your cupboard is boring or you have nothing cool to wear, check your mum or sibling's closet.
You can even check your Daddy's wardrobe, there are no rules in fashion ;)
These pictures were taken by the house help but edited by me.
Proof that anyone can be taught to use a Camera.

Don't let the absence of a photographer stop you from updating your blog.
Ask those around you to help and make sure you show gratitude to them for giving you some of their precious time :)
Have you guy's gone over your 2016 goals since you wrote them down?
If you haven't, please do.
Going over them reminds you of where you are heading.
It also gives you the necessary motivation to keep pushing.
Also, going over them reminds you to evaluate the decisions you have made so far and whether they are beneficial or not.
I hope we all achieve our goals this year!
Don't forget to show love to everyone around you.
Keep on Smiling, it will be alright :)

  4. My mum's late and I don't have a sis, but today I went out and I wore my hubby's Kenneth Cole top and his Converse All Stars. My shoes were a bit tight and I was gonna be in them for a while, so I opted for his at the last min...lol. I bet no one knew. Thankfully, we are abt the same size in frame. Nice pics Tuke...

It's funny, I wanted to rock this look with heels but I couldn't find the strap so I ended up wearing flats and it didn't come out too badly :D

  10. I love the print pants. Very lovely and seems versatile. Imagine pairing them with heels strappy sandals.

Oh well, to the question you asked on your newsletter, yes i do buy Nigerian, depending on the brand. I would love to buy more, like Jewel by Lisa, Maki O (I love love this brand) and the likes, but i kinda find them pricey. So I do a one off buy until I am at that point where I can afford them comfortably without flinching.

Tuke!!! Thank you so so much for calling and wishing me a happy birthday yesterday. You made me smile even more. I felt very appreciated hun. God bless you plenty and increase the works of your hand. Enjoy His grace in a special way.

    1. Thank you Chioma, they are very versatile and the fact that they are multicoloured means they can be paired with many different coloured tops.
Yeah, a lot of them are pricy tbh, was hoping to discover some affordable ones from people's replies. I know many of the designers do complain about high costs of production especially due to unstable power supply. Hopefully one day, things go better.
Awwww, you're welcome :) Gotta show love to my top commenter :D
      Amen :) :)

  11. You look nice Tuke. So earlier this week, I wore le hubs Kenneth Cole polo top and his Converse.... My own sneakers were a bit too tight and I was going to be in them all day, so I opted for his. His feet are just slightly bigger than mine, it worked perfectly and I'm sure no one noticed,...lol
