7 Great Spots I'll recommend for Valentine's Day in Lagos

Hey Guys,

Today's post is slightly different from my regular food posts. It is in collaboration with Ofadaa.com, a team of Amazing people who visited/called over a thousand restaurants in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt & Ibadan to create an awesome directory of restaurants.

Their website helps you effortlessly discover the best restaurants to eat with up to date comprehensive dining information, average costs, reviews and ratings.
On New Years day I thought a guide like this would have been nice to decide on where to go for family dinner so I trust you will find this helpful. Let me know which of these restaurants you've been to, what you thought of it and which you plan to go to.

Click on the Restaurant name to take you to their page on Ofadaa which has the address, phone number, website link and opening hours too.

It is a Posh, Classy and Sophisticated restaurant in VI.
It's got Good Food, Great Service and you're served different types of yummy bread complimentary.
The waiters are well dressed and it can be described as a Fine Dining Restaurant.
Check out my review of it here.
Address: Eko Signature, Eko Hotel, Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island

Crust and Cream
They have a wide variety of food and serve different cuisines
Many people love their breakfast meals and no one I know has complained about their food
I don't like to have the same dishes twice but I can have the pasta I had here over and over again
Address: 11 Musa Yaradua Street, Victoria Island

Insignia
I reviewed it here so you know what I think of it.
The ambience is Amazing, the background music sets the mood, the staff are polite and the food tastes good.
The cuisine is Italian and their mocktails are Delicious.
Address: 13 Kasumu Ekemode Street, Off Saka Tinubu, Victoria Island

La Taverna
It is a Lovely Spot in Victoria Island.
Tuesday is couples night with candles and dim lights so the atmosphere is set.
The table cloth is checkered and I did a review of it here.
I've eaten there a couple of times and played Sax there too, My favourite thing is their Pizza.
There is a Special Valentine's Day Menu and it's N10,000 per couple exclusive of drinks.
If you go there, talk to Chef Christian, the owner and tell him you're a friend of Tuke :)
Address: 48 Balarabe Musa Crescent, Victoria Island

Petit Paris
I've been there twice, the first time was to play Sax for someone's girlfriend on her birthday.
I played romantic songs like Sam Smith's Stay With Me and John Legend's All of Me with Niyi Sax.
The Second time I went there was to eat and I did a review of it here.
The food was delicious, the ambience is Amazing, it's cute, cosy and clean
They have a waterfall which adds to the look & feel and there is faux grass too.
They closed shop a couple of months ago and opened at a New location this week.
New Address: 7a Taiye Olowu street, off Victoria Arobieke street, Lekki phase 1.

Scarlet Lodge
The first time I went there, it was soooo scenic, serene, rustic, beautiful.
Check out the pictures I took here to see what I mean.
They renovated it in September 2015, made it more modern and youthful.
I prefer the old vibes as there was nothing like it in Lagos, I still think it's a great spot though.
There is Indoor & Outdoor seating by the poolside and married couples can choose to spend the night there in one of their luxurious suites.
Address: 79, Younis Bashorun Street, Victoria Island

Spicebowl
It's a relatively unknown restaurant in VI, opposite Silverbird Cinema.
I went there on Christmas Eve and the staff were very polite.
The Food is Fresh, Delicious and really affordable.
It's Great Value for Money, they have Chinese Dishes, Nigerian Dishes and Food from the grill too. They have a branch in Lekki and you can check out my review of it here for some pictures.
Address: 141 Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island /Yeni Crescent, Off Chevron Drive, Lekki

You could win a romantic Valentines Day dinner for 2 at one of the aforementioned restaurants courtesy of Ofadaa.com. Make sure you subscribe to the blog here and follow Ofadaa on Instagram, Twitter &  Facebook so you don't miss out on the Giveaway

Primi Piati
It is in Lekki, off Admiralty way. The ambience there is really nice with decor that reminds you of the sea. They have live music on wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and there is an outdoor area facing the ocean. Berry did a review of it here so check it out to see pictures of it. The cuisine is Italian and there are cute corners for couples to cosy up. I haven't tasted their food which is why it's a bonus one but I've heard Mixed Reviews.
Address: 1c Admiralty Road, Off Admiralty Way, Lekki

    1. Abeg no Vex, I don't like writing about places I haven't been to but I will start visiting restaurants on the Mainland from Next Month. If you check Ofadaa.com you can find restaurants that are in your side of the Mainland and see what cuisine they serve and the price range too.
