Beetroot at the Palms Mall Lekki

Hey Guys,

So I was at the Palms a couple of weekends ago and I bumped into Ehime, the owner of Sweet Kiwi.

I met her at Live your dreams last year as she was a panelist. The next edition of Live Your Dreams is round the corner o! May 14th, Save the Date! Register Here!!!

She's opened a Healthy Food Bar at the Palms.
It's in the food court, under the stairs.
They don't sell Salad's only but Fruit Cups, Wraps, Smoothies, Soups, Iced Tea, Lemonade and loads of other healthy goodies.
I absolutely love the brand colour's.
Investing in proper branding is so important.

Many businesses don't understand that the little things matter, from the font, to the service, to the logo colours.
The O in Beet root looks like a Beetroot in a Frying Pan.
I like the fact that they adhere to health and safety standards,
The vegetables are prepared fresh everyday so you don't have to worry about stale veggies
I find it amazing that Ehime learnt how to run a food business by working at a restaurant in the US, balancing that with her 9 to 5 at a prestigious bank.
There are a variety of sauces and salad dressings to choose from for the Salads & Wraps.
The powders you see below can be used as boosters for your smoothies.
You can also add Pumpkin Seeds or Goji Berries as toppings for your salad.
Betetroot is described as a new generation health food chain specializing in Salads, Sandwiches, Cold Press Juices, Smoothies, Infused Water, Swirly Roots & Popsicles
The wall paper is so cool.
So are the quotes in the plaques.
She uses an Ipad instead of a desktop computer which has many benefits.
These are the ingredients I chose for my Wrap.
Lettuce, prawns, beef red and green peppers, Honey Mustard Sauce and some chilli pepper.
I got some Iced tea too.
Have you spotted Beetroot at the Palms?
Did you try anything? If yes, what was your experience like.
The wraps come in different flavours, I got a Jalepeno-Cheddar one :)
For more information, check out their website here.
Follow them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter too. They deliver to VI, Ikoyi, Lekki, Oniru & Marina so give them a shot and let me know what you think!!

  3. I read your newsletter on whether we eat healthy to get a nice summer body. You know that's a motivation but not just for summer lol. I try to eat healthy sometimes. I got a sore close to my lips because I'm not consuming enough vitamin C so I'm trying to eat more fruits. My healthy eating is guided by need to be healthy and also be fit. I don't want to be going to the hospital frequently due to a bad diet.

    1. Loool, eyah, it's good that you're now taking more vitamins.
I am supposed to do research on vitamins, iron, cod liver oil and try them out to know what works for me.
It's definitely better to ensure you have a balanced diet so your health doesn't suffer.
