Workflow: School Girl Chic

Hey Guys,

Happy Monday

Hope you had a Great Weekend :)

I shared a bit on how it went in my latest Newsletter so if you aren't subscribed to it, do so here :)
I shot these pictures the same day I shot these ones
Multiple shoots in one day are the way forward.
I haven't done a workflow post in such a long time.
If you hadn't discovered my blog when I started that series, check out the earlier workflow posts hereherehere and here.
So I wore this to work a couple of weeks ago.
It bears some semblance to my look in this post but there is some difference too.
I've had this dress for a while now, it was really cheap, less than £10.
The White Shirt is from H and M and these Black Heels from Kampke.com have featured so many times on this Blog: here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here and here
I need some New Black Heels, these ones have done their time.
The bag is my mum's, I never start to dey buy Chanel, hehe.
I think a white shirt under a dress is a great way to spice it up.
It's also a cheeky escape if your armpits aren't shaved.
Hope you enjoyed this post :)

  2. Love the dress, and the white shirt. It's one of my fave ways to give a dress a different look. Everything looks good!

  3. Hehe if your armpits aren't shaved. I love when people wear shirts under their dress, gives it a pinafore look.
Love this, the colour of the dress is really cool.

  5. I looked through the pictures then I had to scroll up and down again just because they are so good. That dress suits you well and your makeup is beautiful. I also love your natural hair and your cute smile.

  6. Lol at you never start to dey buy Chanel. The purse really adds a nice chic look to the outfit. I also agree that a white shirt is a great way to spice up a dress. This is a very corporate yet chic work look, I love the neutral colour. Although, I would have liked to see a pop of pink or blue.

    1. Loool, not yet o!
      Thank you :)
I would have liked a pop of pink on my nails but nail polish never lasts for me because of the Sax. I think a brooch a bow tie will have added a bit more oomph to the look sha!

  10. Really cute look! You look quite nice :)

This is definitely one of the (few) style hacks in my arsenal, haha. I used to do this in uni & law school whenever I wanted to put a spin on a plain black dress. Wore a white collared shirt in a green bodycon a couple weeks ago, and that worked fine, as well.

    Love white shirts!

    :)
